AVA good times to come
Today at the Techincal university of Graz the monographic exhibition of Andrea Vatovani Architecture showing a selection of the works of the last five years opened with a beautiful vernissage. The opening that could porudly welcome more then 260 people started with an introduction of Prof. Johann Zancanella, followed by 4 touching power presentation of Ing. Gerhard Fleissner, Prof. Grigor Doytchinov, BSc. Mario Keusch and Bsc. Anna Gruber. After the presentation took place the keynote lecture of Andrea Vattovani “Getting Started”, after the presentations came about the unveiling ceremony of the 4,2 m model of the Pilingscraper project for New York City.
The celebration than started in a relaxed atmosphere supported by an amazing live jazz session and italian finger food.

This year Andrea Vattovani along other leading architectural practice has been invited to take part to Perspective 2013.
Perspective is the annual international architecture forum founded by the architecture magazine THE PLAN, and this year is at its fourth edition. Perspective represent today an important venue for networking, sharing ideas and new business opportunities, thanks primarily to the high level of participants, coming from all around Europe like: 3XN, UNstudio, MVRDV, Peter Cook, Will Alsop, Sanjay Puri, Micheel De Lucchi, Boris Podrecca, Chapman Taylor, Aldo Cibic, just to name some few.
Today Andrea Vattovani presented his Deisgn course to be hold at the Technical University of Graz.
The architect and founder of Andrea Vattovani Architecture will lead a group of international students. This year subject “PlayVienna” will be a re-interpreatation of the Kaiserforum project in Vienna that was never build in a form of an office simulator, only the best student ideas will survive.

Andrea Vattovani Architecture together with Klein.Raum to organize a Workshop at Technical University of Graz-
This workshop is for everybody who wants to expand their own competences trough practical work and experience outside the University daily routine.
For one week you will be working on professional models and develop up to 3m high Architectural models. During the Workshop you are also going to improve your presentation skills by talking about your own projects. There will also be more events during the Workshop like lectures, movie projections and talks with various architects. At the end of the Workshop you will get a certificate to use for your portfolio. The bests students will have the chance to get an internship at AVA – Andrea Vattovani Architecture. Further the models will be exhibited and you will have the chance to help co-create the exhibition „5“.

Today Andrea Vattovani was in the Jury for the Red Bull Racing Can along the profi BMX rider Senad Grosic and the Architect Martin Lesjak from Innocad. The event was organised at the Campus of the Technical University in Graz
The Jury was asked to judge the quality of the design, which consisted in developing a brand new deisgn for the remote-controlled model cars only by using Red Bull Cans.
The car were also tested in several races showing off also the practical skills of their designs. The winner team gets the chance to take part in the World Final in Milton Keynes for the last Red Bull Race!

Today in the Italian Newspaper “Il Piccolo” appearred an article about Andrea Vattovani in series of article about people from Trieste who started a career in a foreign country.
Tracing Andrea Vattovani’s career, from his escape from Trieste to the practice that he founded, the piece looks at his architecture, why it matters and how difficult it is to do well. The article explain his first steps so far and talk about the projects his practice is actually working on.
The article was written by Micol Brusaferro well known journalist and frontman in the north of Italy, who write an article about people from Trieste becoming personalities.
